About PulseTile

Our Origins

PulseTile can be traced back to a clinician working in busy Emergency Departments of both the NHS, UK and Washington DC, USA. It was clear that usability at the frontline of healthcare was simply not good enough. The wait for the framework went on and on, yet nothing emerged that supported the key processes at the frontline.

Work began to build a user interface and usability framework for healthcare that you would simply want to use. Small efforts, agile and user centred.

After years of clinically led effort, we are able to openly release PulseTile to the world.

Our Approach

User Centred by design.

Usability sucks in Health IT. So it’s a top priority for the PulseTile community. We know all too well that if Health IT is not easy to use, it just gets in the way.

Our guiding principle is to craft a User Experience so good, that patients and clinicians want to use it.

Amidst complexity patterns emerge, which we’ve identified.

PulseTile supports a wide range of clinical information needs harnessing key patterns.
